November 30, 2012 - The 8,000th Walgreens store opens in Hollywood with many celebrities expected tonight

Tonight, Walgreens opens their 8,000th store on Sunset Boulevard & Vine Street in Hollywood (formally, home to Borders) with many celebrities scheduled to attend!  Celebrities will begin arriving at 5:00 p.m.  Some of the celebrities expected to attend include the following:

• Fergie who's the female vocalist for The Black Eyed Peas.

•  Actor Kurt Russell (Escape From New York, The Thing and many others) and his son Wyatt Russell who's also an actor.

• Mark McGrath who's the lead vocalist for the rock band Sugar Ray.

• Fashion consultant and Project Runway mentor Tim Gunn.

• Former NFL player Terry Bradshaw.

• Former NFL player Howie Long.

• The Biggest Loser host and actress Alison Sweeney.

• Model and horse racing jockey Chantal Sutherland.

November 20, 2012 - Rock band Rush are being inducted into the Guitar Center's RockWalk today

Rock band Rush are being honored in Hollywood today when they're inducted into the Guitar Center Hollywood's RockWalk at 12:00 PM!  Alex Lifeson, Geddy Lee and Neil Peart will all be on hand for the ceremony (along with a special guest speaker) to put their handprints in front of the store.

Legendary rock and roll band Def Leppard (Rick Savage, Joe Elliott, Rick Allen, Phil Collen and Vivian Campbell) have a free concert followed by a question and answer session with the band today!  The concert starts at 2:30 p.m. and is first come, first served event, so it's important to arrive early.
