November 16, 2012 - Free live music and screening of Arthur Christmas at The Grove tonight

RSVP for a free holiday celebration taking place at The Grove tonight, that the whole family will enjoy!  The Sun Kings (an excellent Beatles tribute band) will play live music from 6:00-7:00 p.m. and the animated movie Arthur Christmas will begin screening at 8:00 p.m. 

Doors open at 5:00 p.m., but you must RSVP by e-mailing amy@tilpr.com.  Seating is limited, so arrive early after you RSVP.  This event is taking place outdoors on Gilmore Lane at The Grove, so dress warm and enjoy yourselves!

LIVE is throwing a free Easter Celebration at Nokia Plaza for children from 1-6 years old on Easter Sunday (April 8th)!  Children will receive a free Easter basket, be able to take part in an Easter egg hunt, arts & crafts, get their faces painted, the Easter Bunny on hand posing for pictures and balloon artists will also be on hand helping make the day special!  This is a free event, but you have to e-mail L.A. December 5, 2011 - Make reservations for the FREE 18th Annual Queen Mary Christmas Tree Lighting

Make reservations to attend the free 18th Annual Queen Mary Tree Lighting on Wednesday, December 7th!  The festivities kick off at 4:00 p.m. with live music featuring roaming Victorian carolers, two choirs and free refreshments.  Santa Claus will light the Christmas tree at approximately 7:00 p.m. and Santa will be happy to meet your children and take photos with them.  This is a free event, but an unwrapped toy would be appreciated for Toys for Tots, Sparks of Love and the Long Beach Toy Patrol, but it's not mandatory.

Bring your children over to the City of Rancho Mirage Public Library to design and decorate their own foam gingerbread house on December 14th!  Children under 5-years-old will need a parent to help them through the process.  This is a free event with seatings at 5-6 p.m. and 6:15-7:15 p.m. in the Community Room.  Reservations are required and start today, where you can either call (760) 341-7323 ext. 620 or sign up in the Children's Room in the library.
