October 19, 2012 - Uggie "signs" his new book tonight at the Third Street Promenade

Not sure how I feel about this event, but I'll let you all be the judge  Uggie the adorable Jack Russel terrier who starred in The Artist, Water for Elephants and other movies is stopping by Barnes & Noble at the Third Street Promenade at 7:00 PM!  Uggie will be meeting fans and will have his paw pressed in ink in order to put his paw print in copies of his new book Uggie: My Story!

October 18, 2012 - Paranormal Activity 4 signing and giveaway tonight at Dark Delicacies in Burbank

Oren Peli has created, produced, written, directed, edited, cast and has done the cinematography for the Paranormal Activity franchise and tonight he's stopping by Dark Delicacies!  Mr. Peli will be meeting fans, signing free Paranormal Activity 4 posters (like the one above) and giving out promotional items from the new movie starting at 7:00 PM!

A couple celebrities are stopping by The Grove to meet fans and do interviews with Extra today!  The interviews will be taking place next to the Pacific Theatres at The Grove.  The schedule for the day includes the following: 

• Actress Maggie Q is scheduled to arrive at 1:30 p.m. and discuss the new season of Nikita

• Pop singer Ellie Goulding is scheduled to arrive at 3:00 p.m. and discuss her new album Halcyon.

October 16, 2012 - Paranormal Activity 4 premieres in Hollywood tonight and information on getting tickets

Paranormal Activity 4 premieres at the ArcLight Hollywood tonight!  The stars (Katie Featherston, Kathryn Newton, Matt Shively, Brady Allen, Alisha Boe, Tommy Miranda & other cast members) and filmmakers are all scheduled to start walking the red carpet sometime between 5-7 p.m.  If you're planning on attending to spot celebrities as they arrive, I highly recommend arriving early.

Those who follow me on Twitter got a heads up on tickets to the premiere tonight.  As I type this entry, free tickets are still available here.  The screening starts at 8:00 p.m., so this might be in a separate theater from the premiere screening.  Once again, arrive early.

The person who won the Argo premiere tickets arrived an hour before the movie started after I told him to arrive early...and he couldn't understand why he didn't make it in.  Having tickets doesn't guarantee you're getting in, as it's first come first served.  If you get there early and no one is waiting in line, you can always kill time at Amoeba Music till fans start lining up.

October 16, 2012 - Creature from the Black Lagoon and The Invisible Man screen with Julie Adams attending

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences will be getting you ready for Halloween with some incredible events, as they present Universal's Legacy of Horror all month long at the Samuel Goldwyn Theater!

The 1954 3D movie Creature from the Black Lagoon and the 1933 movie The Invisible Man both screen tonight starting at 7:30 PM!  Actress Julie Adams (who stars in Creature from the Black Lagoon) will be in attendance!

Tickets for this special event are are now on sale for only $5.00 and can be purchased here with no service fees.  Tickets can be printed out or picked up at the will call window once you arrive.
