The horror movie The Collection celebrates the DVD and Blu-ray release today at Dark Delicacies with a signing at 7:00 PM!  Stars Josh Stewart, Emma Fitzpatrick, Randall Archer, writer/director Marcus Dunstan and writer Patrick Melton are all scheduled to attend!  The DVD will be sold for $19.98 and the Blu-ray  will be sold for $24.99.

February 23, 2013 - Filmmakers and stars sign copies of the new horror movie Prison today in Burbank

The 1988 horror movie Prison celebrates the release of the Collector's Edition on Blu-ray/DVD combo today at Dark Delicacies with a signing at 2:00 PM!  Writer/producer Irwin Yablans, writer C. Courtney Joyner, special effects supervisor John Carl Buechler, music composer Richard Band, makeup artist William Butler and stars Tom Everett and Larry Flash Jenkins are all scheduled to attend!  The Blu-ray/DVD combo will be sold for $29.99.

The new documentary Craigslist Joe has a free screening tonight at the Egyptian Theatre!  Following the screening, star/producer/director Joseph Garner, executive producer Uday Sehgal, cinematographer Kevin Flint and editor Drew Kilcoin will take the stage for a question and answer session.  This event starts at 7:30 p.m., with free admission on a first come, first served basis.  The Egyptian Theatre is huge, but you should arrive early to ensure you make it in.

September 6, 2012 - Real Women Have Curves screens with a books signing and Q&A with the cast & filmmakers

Screenwriter, playwright and actress Josefina Lopez  will be signing copies of her new book Real Women Have Curves & Other Plays, starting at 6:30 p.m. in the lobby of the Egyptian Theatre!  At 7:30 p.m. a screening of the 2002 movie Real Women Have Curves will start.  Following the screening there will be a question and answer session with stars Ingrid Oliu, Soledad St. Hilaire, screenwriter/playwright/star Josefina Lopez, director Patricia Cardoso, producer Effie Brown, co-producer Marilyn R. Atlas and others.

February 16, 2012 - Wanderlust premiere tonight in Westwood

Tonight is the premiere of the new Judd Apatow movie Wanderlust, starring Jennifer Aniston, Paul Rudd, Justin Theroux, Melissa Joan Hart and Alan Alda!  The premiere is taking place at the Regency Village Theatre located at 961 Broxton Avenue in Westwood and directions can be found here.  The stars and filmmakers should start arriving at approximately 6:00 p.m.  I'd advise you to get there earlier for a good spot.

November 17, 2011 - 'The Hammer: Based on the Life of Matt Hamill' screens tonight followed by a Q&A with the filmmakers

 

Tonight there's a screening of the critically acclaimed movie 'The Hammer: Based on the Life of Matt Hamill' that's based on the inspiring life story of retired UFC fighter Matt Hamill who's deaf, followed by a question and answer session with director/producer Oren Kaplan, writer/producer Eben Kostbar and actor Michael Spady.  The Q&A session will follow the 8:00 p.m. screening of 'The Hammer.'  An interpreter will also be on hand for the hearing impaired.
