October 20, 2012 - The 26th Annual Carousel of Hope Ball takes place tonight in Beverly Hills with George Clooney being honored and lots of celebrities attending

The 26th Annual Carousel Ball for the Children's Diabetes Foundation is taking place tonight honoring George Clooney!  In addition to George Clooney a huge list of stars will also be attending!  Adrien Brody, Kenny "Babyface" Edmonds, Antonio Banderas, Stacy Keibler, Cheryl Burke, Carrie Ann Inaba, Shaquille "Shaq" O'Neal, Magic Johnson,  Sidney Poitier, Sharon Stone, Jane Fonda, Neil Diamond, Tatyana Ali, Jessica Capshaw, Sophia Bush, Alyssa Milano, Smokey Robinson, Donna Mills, Joan Van Ark, Jay Leno and many others are all scheduled to attend.

This event is taking place inside The Beverly Hilton's International Ballroom.  Celebrities will begin arriving at 6:30 p.m.  This event is taking place inside the hotel.  You're welcome to sit in the lobby and you shouldn't have any issues as long as you're dressed nicely, act like you belong and behave yourself.  Fans who run up to celebrities screaming for autographs and/or pictures or asking staff where the celebrities are will probably be shown the door and well behaved fans may be asked to leave as a result.

Pay attention to the celebrities you might want to approach for an autograph and/or picture.  Do they look approachable?  If so, ask if you can have an autograph and/or picture.  Once again, being rude will make it easy for the celebrity to refuse and probably get the fan kicked out.  So if you're planning on attending, behave yourself and remind others not to spoil it for others!  Sharon Stone is a celebrity I'd probably recommend avoiding any interaction with.

October 4, 2012 - Argo premieres in Beverly Hills tonight with Ben Affleck and George Clooney attending! Enter to win tickets!

Argo premieres at the Samuel Goldwyn Theater tonight in Beverly Hills!  The stars (Ben Affleck, Bryan Cranston, John Goodman, Chris Messina, Clea DuVall, Alan Arkin, Adrienne Barbeau & other cast members), filmmakers (George Clooney, Grant Heslov & others) and Tony Mendez (the man the movie is based on) are scheduled to walk the red carpet starting at 6:00 p.m.  If you're planning on attending to spot celebrities as they arrive, I highly recommend arriving early.

This event is a hot ticket and I have one pair of tickets I'll be giving away!  You and your guest will be expected to arrive early in order to make it in and also be dressed in business attire.  No jeans, t-shirts, shorts, sandals, etc.  Those who follow me on Twitter can enter by posting your Twitter user name below in the comment section.  At 2:00 p.m. I'll enter your names on Random.org, post the results, direct message the person on Twitter and request their e-mail address.  Since this is a time sensitive event, be on Twitter ready for a DM at 2:00 p.m.  If I don't get a response after 10 minutes I'll pick another name until someone claims the prize.  Please enter only if you intend on arriving early with a guest and you'll both wearing business attire.

January 31, 2012 - 'The Descendants' screens followed by a Q&A with George Clooney & Alexander Payne on 2/6

 The Oscar nominated movie 'The Descendants' is screening at the Egyptian Theatre followed by a question and answer session with George Clooney and producer/writer/director Alexander Payne!  This special event is happening on February 6th, starting at 7:30 PM sharp in Hollywood.  The Egyptian Theatre has 1,770 seats, so you may want to buy the tickets sooner than later before it sells out.

The historic Egyptian Theatre is located at 6712 Hollywood Boulevard and directions can be found here.  Tickets can be purchased at the box office or online here.  General admission is $11.00 and $9.00 for senior citizens and students.

Also, if you're hungry before or after the event, visit our friends at either the Pig 'N Whistle or Maui and Sons Bar & Grill for some excellent food.  Show your waiter or waitress your ticket stub and they'll give you a 10% discount on your check.

January 12, 2012 - George Clooney, Allison Janney and others will be on hand for John Wells' Walk of Fame ceremony on Hollywood Boulevard today

Producer, writer and director John Wells is being honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame at 11:30 AM!  George Clooney and Allison Janney are scheduled to be the guest speakers at the ceremony, as well as cast members from Southland, Shameless and ER.  The ceremony is happening at 6533 Hollywood Boulevard and directions can be found here. 

The ceremony is occurring in front of the historic Hudson Apartments.  Many big screen greats like Rudolph Valentino, Charlie Chaplin and Stan Laurel called it home.

November 29, 2011 - Stacy Keibler stops by The Grove today

Actress, former Dancing with the Stars contestant and former WWE/WCW professional wrestler Stacy Keibler will be stopping by The Grove today at 2:00 p.m. for an interview with Extra and meeting with fans!  Stacy is currently dating actor George Clooney, so she'll have a lot to talk about.  The Grove is located at 189 The Grove Drive in Los Angeles and directions can be found here.
