October 3, 2013 - Kill Your Darlings premiere takes place at the Writers Guild Theater in Beverly Hills tonight

Kill Your Darlings premieres tonight at the Writers Guild Theater in Beverly Hills!  Stars from the movie (Daniel Radcliffe, Michael C. Hall, Elizabeth Olsen, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Kyra Sedgwick, David "Sledge Hammer!" Rasche & other cast members) and the filmmakers are scheduled to begin arriving at 6:30 p.m.  Other than Daniel Radcliffe, I'm not sure which other cast members will be attending or if there will be a red carpet.

Those who RSVP'd after seeing my tweet should have gotten an e-mail confirmation.  Unfortunately, if you didn't receive an e-mail, you were probably too late.  Those who received an e-mail confirmation should try to arrive as early as possible.  Seating is on a first come, first served basis.  Special thanks to our friends at VCF Los Angeles for the heads up!

Huge list of celebrities attending the annual Oscar Nominees Luncheon at The Beverly Hilton Hotel at 12:00 p.m. today!  This is a private event and I'm not sure how the set up will be, but there might be some photo and/or autograph opportunities.  Over 160 nominees are scheduled to attend!  Some confirmed names include:

January 15, 2013 - Two free women's self-defense courses are taking place this weekend in Torrance and Beverly Hills

The Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Academy has two free Women Empowered self-defense seminars this weekend!  The courses will taught by two of the Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Academy's best, 3rd degree black belt Rener Gracie and former WWE Diva Eve Torres!  Both seminars are 2-hours and space is limited, so you must RSVP to attend.  Ladies attending are asked to wear casual workout attire.  Details:

November 15, 2012 - Ben Stiller being honored with the 26th American Cinematheque Award with lots of celebrities attending

Actor Ben Stiller is being honored with the 26th American Cinematheque Award tonight at a ceremony taking place at The Beverly Hilton Hotel!  Jennifer Aniston *, Will Ferrell *, Jack Black *, Justin Theroux *, Laura Dern, Patton Oswalt, Martin Short, David Cross,  Eugene Levy and many other celebrities are all scheduled to attend the ceremony tonight!  Those with the * next to their names are expected to arrive late and won't be walking the red carpet.

The red carpet will be in the hotel's lobby at 6:30 p.m.  This is a ticketed event and I'm not sure how the hotel will accommodate fans.  In the past, they have set up an area outside for autograph and picture seekers.  Dress nicely, behave yourself and you shouldn't encounter any problems.

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences is celebrating the 20th Anniversary of Bram Stoker's Dracula with a screening and question and answer session with crew members at the Samuel Goldwyn Theater tonight at 7:30 PM!

The question and answer session will feature the following crew members, Academy Award-winning Makeup Artists Greg Cannom, Michèle Burke and Matthew W. Mungle, as well as Academy Award-winning Special Effects Sound Editors Tom C. McCarthy and David E. Stone.  The question and answer session will also be moderated by Variety's David S. Cohen.

Tickets are only $5.00 on The Academy of Mother Pictures Arts and Sciences website, however, Goldstar has tickets available for only $2.00 after service fees.

November 7, 2012 - The Britannia Awards are being held in Beverly Hills tonight

The Britannia Awards are taking place tonight in Beverly Hills at the Beverly Hilton with a large list of celebrities scheduled to attend!  Daniel Day-Lewis, Daniel Craig, Quentin Tarantino, Trey Parker and Matt Stone are all scheduled to attend and be honored tonight.  Harrison Ford, Steven Spielberg and Josh Gad are just a few of the names listed as presenting awards tonight.

This event starts at 6:30 PM, so you'll want to arrive early for celebrity spotting.  This event is taking place inside the hotel, so I'm not sure what the layout will be.  You may be able to sit in the lobby, as long as you're dressed nicely and behave yourself.  The Hollywood Film Awards were held here a few weeks ago and there was a barricade set up where some celebrities would come over and sign, pose for pictures, etc.

The Eddie Murphy: One Night Only Spike TV special is filming tonight at the Saban Theatre in Beverly Hills!  In addition to Eddie Murphy, Chris Rock, Adam Sandler, Samuel L. Jackson, Jamie Foxx, Tracy Morgan, Arsenio Hall, Martin Lawrence, Keenen Ivory Wayans and many others are scheduled to walk the red carpet starting at 5:30 PM!

November 1, 2012 - Usain Bolt is throwing a private party for "The Beast" Yohan Blake with lots of celebrities attending

Usain Bolt is throwing a private party for friend and fellow Olympian "The Beast" Yohan Blake tonight with many celebrities expected to attend!  Cast members from Glee, Sean Kingston, Vanessa Williams, Metta WorldPeace, Brandy, The Wayans Brothers, many Olympians, Quinton Aaron, Shanola Hampton, many other professional athletes and celebrities are all scheduled to attend!

This event is taking place at the Sofitel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills (across the street from the Beverly Center) and the celebrities should start arriving at 8:00 p.m. 

While this is a private party, if you dress nicely and behave yourself, you shouldn't have any problems sitting in the lobby watching celebrities arrive or snapping pictures of the celebrities as they arrive from the sidewalk.

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences have been getting you ready for Halloween all month long and they have one final classic from Universal's Legacy of Horror tonight at the Samuel Goldwyn Theater!

The 1925 silent film The Phantom of the Opera screens tonight starting at 7:30 PM!  103-year-old Carla Laemmle (who dances as Prima Ballerina in the film and niece of Carl Laemmle), Ron Chaney (grandson of star Lon Chaney) and film historian/producer/director/writer Kevin Brownlow are all scheduled to be in attendance!

Mr. Pink Ginseng Drink, the official drink of the Los Angeles Dodgers is having their launch party tonight at the Regent Beverly Wilshire Hotel in Beverly Hills!  La Toya Jackson will accompany Michael Jackson's children Paris, Prince and Blanket as they walk the pink carpet.  Other celebrities (Lindsay Lohan, Paula Abdul, Audrina Patridge, Cindy Crawford, Mario Lopez, Alex Heartman and others), politicians and players from the Los Angeles Dodgers (Matt Kemp and others), Los Angeles Lakers and the Los Angeles Kings are also scheduled to walk the pink carpet tonight.
