December 15, 2013 - Details on Justin Bieber's Believe premiere, tickets, etc.

I tweeted a link for tickets to attend Justin Bieber's Believe and was overwhelmed by passionate Beliebers!  Thought it might be a good idea to lay out all the details here, instead of typing the same thing to people over and over with little space to go into detail.

Justin Bieber's Believe premiere is taking place at Regal Cinemas L.A. LIVE Stadium 14 on December 18th.  Justin Bieber and many other celebrities are scheduled to begin arriving at 5:30 p.m.  The Regal Cinemas L.A. LIVE Stadium 14 is located at 1000 West Olympic Boulevard in Los Angeles.  Directions can be found here.

Here's details for those who would like to attend:

The first step is signing up for a free account at Gofobo.com (it's quick and easy).  Every second counts and tickets often go fast, so you don't want to waste time setting up an account if more tickets free up.  Keep an eye on this link.  Tickets are gone, but more may free up.  From past experience, tickets go quickly (these took an hour to deplete) and more tickets often free up the day of and/or day of the premiere.  Even if you get tickets, tickets don't guarantee entry.  Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis, so it's still important to arrive early.  If you get tickets and arrive an hour or 2 before the premiere, you probably won't be getting in.  The tickets are also printable, so make sure you have access to a printer.

The next step is to keep an eye on GetScreeningCA (GetScreening.com for those who aren't on Twitter) and CAScreenings.  They're the best accounts for posting screenings and premieres and are the only movie screening accounts I recommend.  They may post new links, so it's important to keep an eye on them.  You can also set up for text or e-mail notification when tickets are posted.  The one negative is, they probably won't mention they're premiere tickets, so you're going to have to click the link to make sure.

If you still don't have tickets as we get closer to the premiere, there's still hope.  BelieveMovie have some contests to win tickets and some tickets will be given out at the premiere.  Bleachers will also be set up in front of the theater and open at 10:00 a.m. for fans without tickets.

November 4, 2013 - Thor: The Dark World red carpet premiere streams free and live from Hollywood tonight

Yahoo! Movies is streaming  Marvel's Thor: The Dark World red carpet premiere live and you can watch it right here!  The premiere starts at 6:30 p.m. at the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood.

The cast (Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston, Anthony Hopkins, Zachary Levi, Ray Stevenson, Tadanobu Asano & other stars), filmmakers and  Marvel's Thor creator and writer Stan Lee are all scheduled to attend.

November 4, 2013 - Artie Lange signs his new book at the Barnes & Noble at The Grove tonight

Comedian, radio personality (The Howard Stern Show & The Artie Lange Show), actor (MADtv, Norm, etc) and author Artie Lange is stopping by Barnes & Noble at The Grove to meet fans and sign his new book Crash and Burn at 7:00 PM!

This is a wristbanded event, so you'll want to buy the book once the doors at Barnes & Noble open at 9:00 AM to ensure getting your book signed when  Artie Lange arrives at 7:00 PM.  If you can't be at Barnes & Noble when they open, please call and make sure wristbands are still available before you head over.

November 4, 2013 - Thor: The Dark World premieres at the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood tonight

The highly anticipated premiere of Marvel's Thor: The Dark World takes place tonight at Disney's El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood!  Stars from the movie (Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston, Anthony Hopkins, Christopher Eccleston, Jaimie Alexander, Zachary Levi, Tadanobu Asano, Idris Elba, Kat Dennings, Jonathan Howard and others), the filmmakers and celebrity guests are all scheduled to walk the red carpet starting at 6:30 p.m.  If you're planning on celebrity spotting, I'd highly recommend arriving early.

Celebrities are stopping by CityWalk to meet fans and do their interviews with Extra today!  Look for the Extra flags or ask the friendly staff at CityWalk where they're filming.  The schedule for the day includes the following:

• The cast of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills are scheduled to arrive at 9:30 a.m. and discuss their show.  The interview will be conducted at the Globe Fountain outside of Universal Studios.

• Singer James Blunt is scheduled to arrive at 1:00 p.m. and discuss his new CD Moon Landing and have a live musical performance.  The interview will be conducted at the Globe Fountain outside of Universal Studios.

November 4, 2013 - Janis Joplin is being honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame today

The late singer Janis Joplin is being posthumously honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame at 11:30 a.m.  Singer/actor Kris Kristofferson and record executive Clive Davis will be guest speakers at the event.  If you can't make it down, the ceremony will be streaming live at Hollywood Walk of Fame.

October 3, 2013 - The Walking Dead Season 4 premiere takes place at CityWalk tonight

Tonight, the highly anticipated 4th season of AMC's The Walking Dead premieres at Universal Studios CityWalk Hollywood!  The stars (Norman Reedus, Andrew Lincoln, Steven Yeun, Melissa McBride, Lauren Cohan, Scott Wilson, Danai Gurira, David Morrissey, Sonequa Martin-Green, Chad L. Coleman and many others) and producers are scheduled to walk the red carpet at the AMC Universal CityWalk Stadium 19 Theatre starting at 6:30 p.m.  The cast are always extra nice to fans and generous with autographs and pictures.
