November 4, 2013 - Janis Joplin is being honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame today

The late singer Janis Joplin is being posthumously honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame at 11:30 a.m.  Singer/actor Kris Kristofferson and record executive Clive Davis will be guest speakers at the event.  If you can't make it down, the ceremony will be streaming live at Hollywood Walk of Fame.

This event is taking place at 6752 Hollywood Boulevard (off Highland Avenue, in front of the Musicians Institute) and directions can be found here.
