March 9, 2013 - Free screening of Mask followed by a Q&A with the screenwriter and cast members

Free screening of the movie Mask (1985) followed by a question and answer session with writer Anna Hamilton Phelan and cast members (no names are listed & schedules permitting) today!  The screening starts at 2:00 p.m. in the MLK Jr. Auditorium at the Santa Monica Public Library.  Seating is limited, so arrive early.

September 22, 2012 - Auto Focus screens followed by a Q&A with Greg Kinnear and the filmmakers

The 2002 movie Auto Focus screens at 7:30 p.m. at the Aero Theatre tonight!  Following the screening, star Greg Kinnear, producers Larry Karaszewski, Todd Rosken, Scott Alexander and screenwriter Michael Gerbosi will sit down for a question and answer session!  Tickets to this event can be purchased at the box office or online here.  General admission is $11.00.  Events at the Aero Theatre are always very intimate and special, as the theatre only seats 435 people.

February 14, 2012 - The Simpsons creator Matt Groening is getting his star on the Walk of Fame today

Cartoonist, screenwriter and producer Matt Groening is celebrating the 500th episode of The Simpsons by getting his star on the Walk of Fame.  In addition to creating The Simpsons, Matt Groening also created Futurama and Life in Hell.  Guest speakers at the ceremony are Hank Azaria (who voices Moe Szyslak, Apu Nahasapeemapetilon, Chief Wiggum, Comic Book Guy, Carl Carlson and others on The Simpsons), Nancy Cartwright (who voices Bart Simpson) and Yeardley Smith (who voices Lisa Simpson).

 The ceremony starts at 11:30 a.m. at 7021 Hollywood Boulevard (on the corner of Sycamore) and directions can be found here
