February 7, 2013 - Ed Sheeran has a free concert at The Grove today!

British folk singer and acoustic artist Ed Sheeran has a free outdoor concert at The Grove today from 1:00-2:00 PM!  This will likely be taking place in The Park area at The Grove.  Special thanks to Kiimbeeerlyy for bringing this event to my attention!

January 12, 2013 - Susie Glaze and the HiLonesome Band have free concert at the Santa Monica Public Library today

Susie Glaze and the HiLonesome Band have a free country/bluegrass/folk concert from 3-4 p.m. at the Santa Monica Public Library today!   Seating is limited, so arrive early.

Rock/folk singer Aimee Mann is stopping by Barnes & Noble at The Grove for a live musical performance and then she'll will be signing copies of her new CD Charmer!  This event starts at 7:00 p.m.  CDs go on sale when the store opens at 9:00 a.m.  You'll need a wristband to get your CD signed, so call and make sure there are still wristbands available before heading down to purchase your CD.

August 16, 2012 - The free Twilight Concert Series is headlined by Amadou & Mariam and Y La Bamba at the Santa Monica Pier

Tonight the 28th Annual Twilight Concert Series continues with another free outdoor concert at the Santa Monica Pier from 7-10 PM!  Afro-blues group Amadou & Mariam and acoustic/folk band Y La Bamba headline tonight!  The concert is outdoors, so you may want to bring a blanket, jacket, beach chair, etc.

Parking at the Santa Monica Pier can run anywhere from $6 to $12 for the day.  The Santa Monica Pier is located at 200 Santa Monica Pier and directions can be found here.

June 11, 2012 - Shawn Colvin is performing some live music and signing copies of her new book & CD tonight

Author and folk/rock singer Shawn Colvin is stopping by Barnes & Noble at The Grove to perform some live music, talk with fans and sign copies of Diamond in the Rough: A Memoir and her new CD All Fall Down at 7:00 PM!

This is a wristbanded event, so you'll want to buy the book once the doors at Barnes & Noble open at 9:00 AM to ensure getting your book signed when Shawn Colvin arrives at 7:00 PM.  If you can't be at Barnes & Noble when they open, please call and make sure wristbands are still available before you head over.
