March 20, 2013 - NBC's The Voice premieres at the Chinese Theatre tonight with details on how to get free tickets

NBC's The Voice has a big 4th season premiere at the Chinese Theatre tonight!  Coaches from the series (Adam Levine, Usher, Blake Shelton & Shakira), host Carson Daly, the producers and other celebrity guests are scheduled to begin walking the red carpet at 5:30 p.m. At 6:30 p.m. the first episode of the new season will screen inside the Chinese Theatre.

November 5, 2012 - NBC's The Voice has a special event at The Grove tonight

NBC's The Voice and Extra are teaming up for a big event tonight at The Grove.  Coaches Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo Green, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton will all be on hand from 6:30-9:00 p.m. joined by host Carson Daly, as they judge a live singing competition! 

If you feel you have that IT factor and you're a good singer, head down to The Grove for an audition from 1-5 p.m.  After the auditions, 3 fans will be chosen to perform in front of Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo Green, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton.  The winner will receive 2 tickets to attend a taping of The Voice.

The coaches will also be answering your questions.  You can tweet your questions to Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo Green, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton with the hashtag #TheVoiceExtra. 

September 7, 2012 - The cast of The New Normal are stopping by The Grove today

Cast members from the new NBC show The New Normal are stopping by The Grove to discuss the show with Extra at 1:00 p.m.  This interview will be taking place next to the Pacific Theatres.

Disclaimer:  I enjoy posting these celebrity appearances at The Grove, however, lately I've seriously considered not posting them any longer.  Extra often tweets or posts these appearances on their website, people show up (sometimes driving hours), only to find out the celebrity was rescheduled or they decided to make it a private interview at the last minute.  This often results in a headache for the fans and I.

Most of the time Extra doesn't update their website to mention the appearances being changed.  The rare times Extra has mentioned a schedule change, I haven't been online to make mention of it.  So many times I get online to find messages from disappointed fans showing up at these apperances.

For now, I'll continue posting these appearances.  I'd strongly caution anyone planning on attending and ask that they double check by calling (323) 900-8080 before wasting their time driving over for nothing.   

August 17, 2012 - Jamar Rogers and Vicci Martinez have a free concert at CityWalk tonight

Pop singer Jamar Rogers and pop/rocker Vicci Martinez who are former contestants from NBC's The Voice are stopping by Universal Studios CityWalk Hollywood to perform a free outdoor concert for fans!  The concert is taking place from 7-10 p.m. at CityWalk's 5 Towers Concert Venue.

July 25, 2012 - The free Summer Concert Series continues at The Grove with contestants from NBC's The Voice

The Grove's Summer Concert Series continues with another free outdoor concert!  Tonight former contestants from NBC's The Voice will be taking the stage at 7:30 p.m. at The Grove in The Park area.  Dia Frampton (season 1 runner-up), Tony Lucca (3rd place on season 2), Juliet Simms (season 2 runner-up) and Chris Mann (4th place on season 2) are all scheduled to perform tonight!
