December 3, 2011 - Montrose Christmas Parade happening tonight

Tonight is the 35th Annual Montrose Christmas Parade starting at 6:00 PM!  The Grand Marshals of the parade are Jack & Helen Nethercutt and joining them will be marching bands, local law enforcement, firefighters, teachers and politicians, Santa Claus and more!  Details and the parade route can be found on the Montrose Christmas Parade website here.

December 1, 2011 - Free arts & crafts event for children in Rancho Mirage today

Bring your children over to the City of Rancho Mirage Public Library to design and decorate their own foam gingerbread house on December 14th!  Children under 5-years-old will need a parent to help them through the process.  This is a free event with seatings at 5-6 p.m. and 6:15-7:15 p.m. in the Community Room.  Reservations are required and start today, where you can either call (760) 341-7323 ext. 620 or sign up in the Children's Room in the library.
