February 23, 2013 - The free Invisible Art, Visible Artists Editors Seminar takes place at Egyptian Theatre today

The free Invisible Art, Visible Artists Editors Seminar with this year's Oscar-nominated editors is taking place at the Egyptian Theatre today!  The event starts at 10:00 a.m. and seating is on a first come, first served basis.  Doors open at 9:00 a.m., so arrive early.  Those scheduled to attend include:

• William Goldenberg will discuss Argo.

•  Jay Cassidy and Crispin Struthers will discuss Silver Linings Playbook.

•  Tim Squyres will discuss Life of Pi.

• Michael Kahn will discuss Lincoln.

• Dylan Tichenor and William Goldenberg will discuss Zero Dark Thirty.

September 9, 2012 - Free admission to the 6th Annual PrimeCuts television editors discussion in Hollywood today

The 6th Annual PrimeCuts event is taking place from 1-3 p.m. today at the Egyptian Theatre!  Emmy-nominated editors will take part in a question and answer session moderated by writer/producer Shawn Ryan.  This is a free event, but arrive early to guarantee you make it in.  The panel will include:

• Peter John Chakos is an editor/producer/director who has edited The Big Bang Theory, Will & Grace and other television shows.

•  Kelley Dixon has edited Breaking Bad, Without a Trace and other television shows and movies.

•  Kabir Akhtar is an editor/producer/director who has edited The 84th Annual Academy Awards, Brand X with Russell Brand and other television shows.

•  Steven A. Rasch, A.C.E. has edited Modern Family, Curb Your Enthusiasm and other television shows.

•  Fabienne Bouville is an editor/producer/director who has edited American Horror Story, Glee and other television shows.

•  David Tedeschi is an editor/writer/composer who has edited George Harrison: Living in the Material World, The Shield and other television shows.

• John Zimmer has edited The 2012 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony, American Idol and other television shows.

• Josh Earl, A.C.E has edited Deadliest Catch, Storage Wars and other television shows.

Free admission to the Invisible Art, Visible Artists Oscar-Nominated Editors Seminar at 10:00 a.m. in Hollywood!  Editors scheduled to appear today at the Egyptian Theatre are:

• Thelma Schoonmaker nominated for Hugo
• Kirk Baxter and Angus Wall nominated for The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo
• Kevin Tent  nominated for The Descendants
