Hello I Must Be Going screens September 7th & 8th and will be followed by a question and answer session both nights with star Melanie Lynskey, screenwriter Sarah Koskoff and director Todd Louiso!  This screenings start at 7:45 p.m. at The Landmark Theatres.  General admission is $12.50, children and seniors are $9.50.  Tickets can be purchased at the box office or online here for September 7th and here for September 8th.

With The Muppets being honored in Hollywood this morning and the release of The Muppets on DVD today, I thought it might be fun to list some of the local locations used in the 2011 film:

•  Greystone Mansion was the location used for Kermit's mansion.  Greystone's Mansion and Park is located at 905 Loma Vista Drive in Beverly Hills and directions can be found here.

•  The El Capitan Theatre and the Jim Henson Company Lot were used for scenes at "Muppet Studios."  The El Capitan Theatre is located at 6838 Hollywood Boulevard and directions can be found here.  The Jim Henson Company Lot is located at 1416 North La Brea Avenue in Los Angeles and directions can be found here.

January 14, 2012 - Comedian Kevin Pollak is hosting a screening of 'The In-Laws' tonight

January 5, 2012 - Boyz II Men Walk of Fame after party in Hollywood tonight

December 3, 2011 - 'The Hustler' and 'Carrie' double feature including Piper Laurie Q&A on December 10th

November 24, 2011 - Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!  Living in Los Angeles, many of us might not have family close by or maybe we might not be able to afford to celebrate.  Don't stay home alone today...due to the generosity of  Café Gratitude, the Laugh Factory and the Westside Thanksgiving Celebration there are free meals being served today.  Here's the details:

November 14, 2011 - Twilight Breaking Dawn premiere tonight in Los Angeles

Tonight is 'The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1' premiere at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles tonight at 4:30 p.m.  This is a HUGE event with thousands of fans from around the world camping out for over a week in hopes of getting a good spot.  I don't think you're going to have much luck seeing Robert Pattinson if you're leaving for the premiere today, but there's still hope.  You can watch live video from the event streaming below.  If you'd still like to head down to the event, the Nokia Theatre is located at 777 Chick Hearn Court.  Directions can be found here.
