March 19, 2013 - The Host premieres tonight at the ArcLight Hollywood with details on how you can attend

The Host premieres at the ArcLight Hollywood tonight!  The stars (Saoirse Ronan, Diane Kruger, Max Irons, Jake Abel, William Hurt, Frances Fisher, Boyd Holbrook & other cast members), writer Stephenie Meyer, the filmmakers and other celebrities are all scheduled to start walking the red carpet at 6:30 p.m.

Details on how to attend the premiere:  They're looking for real fans to attend this premiere, so the first 200 fans to line up and bring a copy of The Host: A Novel will get free admission to the premiere!  Also, the first 70 fans to arrive will also have access to a VIP fan viewing area.  Fans will be allowed to start lining up at 2:00 p.m. on the southeast corner of Sunset and Ivar.

While fans will be allowed to begin lining up at 2:00 p.m., I highly recommend arriving earlier to scope out the area.  Many fans are going to be attending and any advantage can help you get in to the premiere tonight.  Some who arrive late may also try to worm their way into line, so keep an eye out on those trying to cut.  That could cost you your opportunity to make it in the premiere.  Security will handle those cutting in line if it's brought to their attention.

March 15, 2013 - Stephenie Meyer and stars from The Host sign the book and posters today at The Grove

Author Stephenie Meyer stops by Barnes & Noble at The Grove as to sign her book The Host: A Novel at 2:00 PM!  Stars from the new movie The Host (Saoirse Ronan, Diane Kruger, Max Irons and Jake Abel) will also be on hand signing free mini-posters for those who purchase the book.  Stephenie Meyer and the cast will also be doing an interview with Extra at The Grove at 1:30 PM.

This is a wristbanded event, so you'll want to buy the book once the doors at Barnes & Noble open at 9:00 AM to ensure getting your book signed when  Stephenie Meyer and the cast of The Host arrive at 2:00 PM.  If you can't be at Barnes & Noble when they open, please call and make sure wristbands are still available before you head over.

Lots of celebrities are stopping by The Grove to meet fans and do their interviews with Extra today!  Look for the Extra flags or ask the friendly staff at The Grove where they're filming today.  The schedule for the day includes the following:

• Actress, producer and author Roma Downey is scheduled to arrive at 10:15 a.m. and discuss her new book A Story of God and All of Us: A Novel Based on the Epic TV Miniseries "The Bible."

• Author Stephenie Meyer and stars Saoirse Ronan, Diane Kruger, Max Irons and Jake Abel are scheduled to arrive at 1:30 p.m. to discuss their movie The Host.  Stephenie Meyer and the cast will also be doing a book and poster signing at Barnes and Noble at The Grove today at 2:00 PM.
  

•  Actress, singer and author Rita Moreno is scheduled to arrive at 3:30 p.m. and discuss her new book Rita Moreno: A Memoir.
