The Santa Monica Pier Aquarium is offering free admission every Sunday in February!  See sharks, eels, octopus, stingrays and other sea inhabitants up close.  Fun and an educational experience for the whole family.  The Aquarium is open from 12:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on weekends.  The Santa Monica Pier Aquarium is located under the Pier, at 1600 Ocean Front Walk and directions can be found here.  For any additional information, please call (310) 451-1500.  Check out the Santa Monica Pier streaming online live 24/7 here.

December 17, 2011 - FREE Christmas celebration at the Santa Monica Pier

 Santa Claus will be at the Santa Monica Pier today from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Merry-Go-Round Building!  Santa will be available for your little ones to meet and get their picture taken with him.  From 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. all rides on the Merry-Go-Round will be FREE and hot chocolate & snacks will be served!  Christmas carolers will also be singing festive songs from 2:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on the Pier.  For more information please call (310) 458-8901.

November 11, 2011 - Two HUGE Free UFC Events Today at the Santa Monica Pier

Today the UFC will be holding two HUGE events at the Santa Monica Pier!  First, there's a press conference at 2:00 PM to announce the UFC 141 main event, which is former WWE superstar Brock Lesnar facing Alistair Overeem.  Lesnar, Overeem and Dana White are all scheduled for the press conference.  Seating for this FREE event starts at 1:00, so get there early. 

 Also today, weigh-ins for the UFC on FOX television special will take place at the Santa Monica Pier with all the fighters on the card, Dana White and Joe Rogan in attendance!  The weigh-ins start at 4:00 PM for this FREE event open to the public.  The lineup includes the following:
