February 22, 2013 - UFC 157 weigh-ins are taking place in Anaheim today

The Ultimate Fighting Championship returns to town with UFC 157 on Saturday!  Today, all the fighters on the card will be weighing in and having their stare downs at 3:00 p.m. at the Honda Center!  This is free event to attend and open to the public!  In addition to the fighters, Dana White, Joe Rogan and Bruce Buffer will also be in attendance. 

Fighters weighing include the following:

"Rowdy" Ronda Rousey, Liz Carmouche, Dan Henderson, Urijah Faber, Ivan Menjivar, Court McGee, Josh Neer, Josh Koscheck, "Ruthless" Robbie Lawler, Brendan Schaub, Lavar Johnson, Michael Chiesa, Anton Kuivanen, Dennis Bermudez, Matt Grice, Sam Stout, Caros Fodor, Kenny Robertson, Brock Jardine, Jon Manley, Neil Magny, Jon Manley & Neil Magny.

February 20, 2013 - UFC has two open workouts with fighters today in Torrance

The Ultimate Fighting Championship returns to town with UFC 157 at the Honda Center on Saturday!  Today, there will be a two open workouts today at the UFC Gym in Torrance.  These workouts are open to the public and free to attend, so bring your camera along!

The 12:30 p.m. workout included the following fighters:

•  The #1 contender for the UFC women's bantamweight championship Liz Carmouche.

• Former UFC light heavyweight champion Lyoto "The Dragon" Machida.

• Ivan Menjivar.

• UFC women's bantamweight champion "Rowdy" Ronda Rousey.  Ronda Rousey was a silver medalist in Judo in the Olympics, who has looked outstanding and unstoppable in her previous fights.  She has won all 6 of her matches via armbar submission quickly.  This is also a historic match for the UFC, as it's the first women's match in the history of the promotion.

•  Former Pride and Strikeforce champion, legend and future Hall of Famer Dan Henderson.

• Former WEC featherweight champion Urijah Faber.
