January 10, 2013 - Hooray For Hollywood...High! honors Carol Burnett at the El Capitan Theatre tonight

Hooray For Hollywood...High! will be honoring actress Carol Burnett and raising money for Hollywood High School tonight at Disney's El Capitan Theatre!  Betty White, Aisha Tyler, Wendi McLendon-Covey, Charlene Tilton, Rita Moreno, Margaret O'Brien, Renée Taylor, Ed Begley Jr., Joe Bologna and many others are all scheduled to attend and walk the red carpet starting at 6:30 p.m.  If you're planning on attending, I'd highly recommend arriving early.

December 10, 2012 - Betty White signs her new book at The Grove tonight

Legendary actress Betty White is stopping by Barnes & Noble at The Grove to meet fans and sign her new book Betty & Friends: My Life at the Zoo at 7:00 PM!
 
This is a wristbanded event, so you'll want to buy the book once the doors at Barnes & Noble open at 9:00 AM to ensure getting your book signed when  Betty White arrives at 7:00 PM.  If you can't be at Barnes & Noble when they open, please call and make sure wristbands are still available before you head over.   Each customer may get up to 3 books signed.

Actress Valerie Bertinelli is being honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame today at 11:30 AM!  Betty White, Jane Leeves and Wendie Malick are all guest speakers at the ceremony today.

Another day of celebrities stopping by The Grove to meet fans and do interviews with Extra!  Legendary actress Betty White is scheduled to arrive at 1:00 p.m. and singer Emeli Sandé is scheduled to arrive at 1:30 p.m.

Disclaimer:  I enjoy posting these celebrity appearances at The Grove, however, lately I've seriously considered not posting them any longer.  Extra often tweets or posts these appearances on their website, people show up (sometimes driving hours), only to find out the celebrity was rescheduled or they decided to make it a private interview at the last minute.  This often results in a headache for the fans and I.

Most of the time Extra doesn't update their website to mention the appearances being changed.  The rare times Extra has mentioned a schedule change, I haven't been online to make mention of it.  So many times I get online to find messages from disappointed fans showing up at these apperances.

For now, I'll continue posting these appearances.  I'd strongly caution anyone planning on attending and ask that they double check by calling (323) 900-8080 before wasting their time driving over for nothing.  

February 19, 2012 - Dr. Seuss' The Lorax premieres today at the Gibson Amphitheatre at Universal CityWalk Hollywood

Today is the premiere of Dr. Seuss' The Lorax, starring Taylor Swift, Zac Efron, Danny DeVito, Betty White, Ed Helms and Rob Riggle!  The stars and filmmakers are all scheduled to arrive at 1:00 p.m.  I'd advise you to get there earlier if you want a good spot to see the stars arriving and walking the orange carpet.

The premiere is taking place at the Gibson Amphitheatre at Universal CityWalk Hollywood.  The Gibson Amphitheatre is located at 100 Universal City Plaza and directions can be found here.  The Metro Redline subway will drop you off right in front of Universal Studios Hollywood and you can catch a free tram that will take you up the hill.

December 19, 2011 - Betty White is doing a book signing in Santa Monica tonight

Legendary actress Betty White is stopping by the 3rd Street Promenade Barnes & Noble to discuss and sign her new book 'Betty & Friends: My Life at the Zoo' starting at 7:00 p.m. tonight!  Wristbands will be distributed to customers who purchase the book starting at 9:00 a.m.  When you return for the book signing later, remember to bring your receipt.  I was told only 100-200 wristbands will be distributed, so it's important you get there early.
