A busy day at The Grove with some celebrities stopping by to meet fans and do their interviews with Extra today!  Look for the Extra flags or ask the friendly staff at The Grove where they're filming today.  The schedule for the day includes the following:

• Olivia Culpo is scheduled to arrive at 10:30 a.m. to discuss being Miss Universe 2012.  Olivia Culpo is listed as appearing today and tomorrow at 10:30 a.m.  As always, call to confirm the schedule before you head over.

• Musician and actress Carnie Wilson is scheduled to arrive at 11:30 a.m. and discuss Rachel vs. Guy: Celebrity Cook-Off.

•  Rocker Rikki Rockett is scheduled to arrive at 1:00 p.m. and will be discussing Poison and Rockett Drum Works.

•  The USC Drumline are scheduled to arrive at 1:30 p.m. for a demonstration.

Musician Pete Wentz (best known as a member of the group Fall Out Boy) is stopping by Barnes & Noble at The Grove to meet fans and sign his new book Gray at 7:00 PM!

This is a wristbanded event, so you'll want to buy the book once the doors at Barnes & Noble open at 9:00 AM to ensure getting your book signed when  Pete Wentz arrives at 7:00 PM.  If you can't be at Barnes & Noble when they open, please call and make sure wristbands are still available before you head over.

February 17, 2013 - The Los Angeles, Italia kicks off today in Hollywood with lots of free events and Al Pacino being honored

The Los Angeles, Italia kicks off today at the Chinese 6 Theatres at the Hollywood & Highland Center!  The events are all free and open to the public!  First come, first served and some require an RSVP via e-mail.  Arrive early.  Today the schedule includes the following:

•  Documentary Once Upon a Time...Sergio Leone screens at 9:00 a.m.

•  Il caso Mattei (1972, also known as The Mattei Affair) screens at 10:15 a.m.

• Scent of a Woman (1992) screens at 12:30 p.m.

• Mont Reve (2012) premieres at 4:20 p.m. with the cast and producers (Mario Rivelli & India Irving) attending.  RSVP by e-mailing MontReve@LosAngelesItalia.com.

• Al Pacino is being honored with the inaugural Jack Valenti L.A. Italia Legend Award tonight at 8:30 p.m.  Celebrities (Al Pacino, Franco Nero, Dennis Christopher, Penelope Ann Miller, Joe Mantegna, Jeff Garlin and many others) will begin arriving at 7:30 p.m. to walk the red carpet.

February 16, 2013 - RSVP to attend the premiere of Dark Skies free in Hollywood on 2/20

The horror/supernatural thriller Dark Skies premieres on February 20th at the ArcLight Hollywood.  The cast and filmmakers are all scheduled to attend, there will be free food from gourmet food trucks, a DJ and lots of giveaways.  Sound good?  Want to attend free?  Click here to RSVP.  If you're planning on attending, I recommend arriving early. Actor Simon Baker is being honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame at 11:30 a.m. today!  Actress Naomi Watts and Bruno Heller who's the writer/executive producer on The Mentalist will be guest speakers at the ceremony.

February 14, 2013 - The Package screens on 2/15 followed by a Q&A with star "Stone Cold" Steve Austin in North Hollywood

The Package screens on February 15th, followed by a question and answer session with WWE Hall of Famer and star "Stone Cold" Steve Austin after the 7:10 p.m. screening at the Laemmle's Noho 7!  The question and answer session will be moderated by local radio personality "The Film Freak" Leo Quinones.
